A BIT MORE HISTORY

Oscar has been performing since a very young age - singing and playing live since he was 6 years old. He began playing piano at 5 years old and quickly progressed to acoustic guitar, ukulele, and drums.

He has built up a strong global following and now has more than 300,000 followers on social media. Oscar shared his musical talents at the age of 7 online by covering a wide range of styles and artists from rock, pop to reggae. Famous artists started re-sharing young Oscar's original covers including Queen, Aerosmith, Camila Cabello, Calum Scott, James TW, Grace Vanderwall and Guns N' Roses whose posts reached millions. In 2017, aged 10, he became the youngest artist ever to sign a record deal with Universal Music in Scandinavia.

Now 16, Oscar has played many historic Swedish venues - playing live to over 1.3M people on Scandinavia's biggest music TV show ("Allsång på Skansen"), at the Circus Arena in Stockholm, in front of 60,000 people for the largest climate concert in Sweden, and was the youngest artist ever to grace the Main Stage at the Boardmasters Festival.

In 2020, he played live for Her Royal Highness, the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden for her birthday in front of millions of TV viewers. He toured across Sweden to raise money for the mental health charity "Never Alone" and was Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award nominee ("Sweden's Favorite Star"). In 2020, he starred in the lead role in Sweden's smash hit kids TV show, "KÄR" with 122 episodes and returned to the TV screen in 2021 starring as Felix in the final series of the popular "Up4Noise".

In 2021, Oscar decided to follow his own path as an independent artist, immediately working on his debut EP "THIR13EN" which was released in 2022. Oscar recorded all instruments on the EP (except the drums) and wrote all songs with his long time collaborators Kristofer Greczula and Isa Tengblad. THIR13EN was critically acclaimed and led to Oscar winning Rookie Artist of the Year at the Sweden "DennizPop" Awards that same year. Selected from a jury of industry experts including Max Martin, Oscar was the youngest ever to receive the award. Oscar finished his Year 9 education in 2023 and has spent much of the year playing live gigs and writing new songs for an upcoming album project.  And yet, he somehow still finds time to do what he loves most - playing live on the streets of his home town, Malmö.

What's coming next is going to be epic!

Outside of music, Oscar is a passionate environmentalist and an active supporter of FridaysForFuture performing at climate strikes in Germany, Denmark and Sweden for many years. He is an official ambassador for TogetherBand and SurfersAgainstSewage. Aged 11, Oscar wrote his first song "We March" as a call to action on climate change and played live for 60,000 people in Stockholm at the largest public protest march in the country's history. The first single on his debut EP, 'Don't Lie To Me', tackled corporate misinformation and greenwashing with Oscar donating proceeds from the single to the environmental charity, ClimateLive. Oscar continues to be a voice for our planet.
